Extraction Method: Distillation

How to Use: To create your own custom wellness, bath and body products. Choose any of Escents' scentless products or carriers and add 10-20 drops per 30ml or 1oz of product. You can also add 5-8 drops in an aroma diffuser to scent your space, deodorize and purify the air.

For topical application: Mix 4-20 drops of essential oil with 10 ml of carrier oil.

For local application: Apply to affected area up to three times per day.

For body massage: Apply once daily.

For Steam inhalation: Add 6-24 drops of undiluted essential oil to a bowl of steaming water/facial steamer. Inhale slowly and deeply for 5-10 minutes. Up to three times per day. Do not use essential oils undiluted.

Uses: Patchouli is beneficial for the nervous system, skin care, circulatory system, respiratory system and genito-urinary system.

Nervous System: Balances, sharpens, clarifies and grounds one’s energy. Aids with dreaming. Helps with nervous exhaustion, lethargy, mood swings and stress-related problems. Works as a sedative at low dose and as a stimulant at high dose.

Skin Care: Helps control/or heal inflamed skin, acne, athlete’s foot, dry skin, chapped skin, eczema, open pores, wrinkles, dandruff, scars, stretch marks and wounds. Works well as an insect repellent and is good for germ prevention.

Respiratory System: Reduces inflammation. Slows breathing.

Circulatory System: Helps with external hemorrhoids.

Genito-Urinary System: Soothes menstrual cramps. Helps with yeast infections. Also works as an aphrodisiac.

Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with vegetable oil/water. Do not ingest.
